Hi
Just joined the forum, at what is the beginning of a probably long quest to find a good RMF. I have a TR4A at the moment, and a couple of other Triumphs - a gt6 and a herald convertible. Planning to sell the last two and buy an RMF.
I guess this forum is a good place to start, and the RM club too.
Saw the article in Practical classics about RMs and that inspired me to do something about it, rather than just wish.
No doubt pestering all with questions over the coming months.
Regards Dave ====

Thank you (mike?). Figures in PC for a good RMF is about £15k. Is that about right? Do they come up for sale in the club very often?
Also figure for an RMC is about £18k, which seems cheap, but I guess they are so rare you can't actually buy one.

I'm fairly new to the Riley scene and know nothing about RMs as I'm a 1.5 owner. (sorry). Hopefully someone can help answer your questions though.

Hi Triumph, Have you joined the Riley Motor Club and the RM Club? Both advertise RMs for sale in their magazines and a 'wanted' ad is always a good idea, owners might be looking to sell over the winter. You won't get TR4 performance from an RM, though. Happy hunting and do get a knowledgeable RM owner to assess it for you. Cheers G (x sidescreen TR pooch)

BTW, you might do better to advertise on this forum in the Sales/Wants section!!! G

Thank you Grommit
Not looking for performance from an RM, more for elegant cruising!
I'll be joining both clubs, and putting in an ad. Got to get my other cars ready for sale first.
By the way, I live in the Isle of Man, and I know a few years ago (maybe 20), there was at least one RM, maybe two, at a house up by Mount Murray that I used to see fairly often. Maybe that person is/ was a member too.
Cheers Dave ===
