Hi, I have just bought a 1954 Pathfinder to add to the collection. It has been painted in blue metallic paint since new, but had a respray in the '60's. Does anyone have a definitive paint code for 1954 metallic blue Pathfinders, as I would like to put the car back to original. Cheers,
Bob.

Bob ,there were more than one 'metallic blue' shade offered..(as well as several other 'metallic' colors) I have 2 '54s that were both supplied new in metallic blue.. one is a very dark shade.. the other is fairly close to Jaguar 'opalescent blue' ..both have grey interiors.. the pathfinder came in colors that are , i believe unique to the model.. best bet is to take a piece that has been out of sunlight to paint suppler..and have them match it.. fuel filler door is the normal part used to achieve this..

Hi Bob, That's what I did to get a match on the blue on the Sprite. I had to take a door in, but the match was perfect. This particular paint shop in Farnworth, Bolton gave it to a chap who had been matching unknown paint mixes for years.
