Sorry lads I am sleeping at the switch. I missed this thread.
I think this car was sold recently on BAT, I believe originally a Tim Trevithick car? so I guess the current owner is trying to flip it.
MGB wheels, front disc brakes etc. 1798 engine etc. upgrade nice to have for sure
FWIW I find the torsion bar adjusters out of whack and the front suspension could be tidier for the asking price.
All in all a nice car, always easy to find some deficiency I guess.

Yes..this was one of mine (briefly) and was mostly restored by Rex Wallace who now lives in Wa.. i traded it for a 'not even close to as described' jaguar Mk2 saloon with a fellow in LA...he kept it a few months and then sold it on ebay to the chap in Oakland who listed it on BAT last year.. overall its a very decent example.. the rear axle is a later type MGB unit and the front hubs are sprite, re-drilled for 4 1/2" bolt pattern so that Mk1 MGB wheels could be used.. does everything it is supposed to do .and was a fairly well sorted out car.. very clean and tidy when it left me.. it still had its original 1500 engine..not an MGB unit.. I have florentine blue one coming in for full re-commisioning next month.. as well as Kevin Riley's highly original birch grey car at present. hoping to get to my own blue car underway soonish.. although its only covered 27k miles for new, it needs major work due to sitting outside for over 35 yrs..
