Hi folks,
It's time to move some of my current clutch of p/f's on to better homes. After all, I can't drive 'em all myself, can I? And the old farts that are doing the bodywork 'aint got long enough left to finish 'em all, me included!
The red car shown regularly in the club mag with my mugshot is on the list. It was fully restored about 15 years ago, and hasn't done much work since. There are a few blemishes on the body, but nothing serious. it is a very nice, presentable p/f that drives well. Non standard interior, but what is there suits the car better than a recover. I wouldn't change it, but can provide correct interior, if preferred.
If you are looking for a bigger project, I have a couple of contenders. There is a '55 original blue car that looks quite forlorn, but runs well and there is something appealing about it when you see it. It's very original and deserves to be put back on the road, but will need quite a bit of bodywork to get it there. I have a good supply of most, if not all of the bits needed.
There is also another '55 p/f that is really rough bodily, but the engine seems sweet. Might be a good basis for a special project.
I am keen to see these cars progress, not be left in someone else's garage untouched-most of them have been there, done that and got the tee shirt! But moving these on would still currently leave me 5 p/f's and a 2.6 to play with, so I won't get bored.
If anyone is interested, email me at "rileysrevived@gmail.com" for more info or phone me on 01215561602 and leave a message and I will phone you back for a chat.
Cheers,
Bob.
