Hi all, I have now sold the replica (see pic at bottom ) so ... here is my new toy This is 'Cybil' and was for many years owned by Grommit - a regular on this forum. However it has gone through a few hands since then and is now in a bit of a sorry state. She requires a full rebuild and quite a lot of tlc. We have had her running - quite sweet with good oil pressure - but lots of niggly problems which prevent taking her on the road ... no starter, broken fuel pump, blocked fuel pipe, clutch stuck!, leaking carbs ... good news is that the brakes on dismantling look perfect - so at least I will be able to stop Will keep you updated on (slow?) progress. Cheers for now, Roger Bye, Bye ...

Congratulations on the new member of your family! Looks a great candidate for your project and a MK 1 to boot!
Have fun and be safe

Good luck with your new endeavours. Will this be a rebuild as a standard car or have you got any tweeks planned?
Good to see a grey one but I suspect it's not Yukon Grey.......(clearly the best).

Graham,
It is Yukon Grey ! However was repainted a few years ago with a roller and a tin of dulux in the wrong shade. I might go a different colour though - plenty of time to decide! Roger

Good news that Noddy is going to get Cybil back on the road. Some photos of her taken in 1986 soon after I bought her. Pre lowering to mk2 height so this was the original ride height. Cheers G
