Sadly, my parent's 1969 Riley Elf was stolen in Dallas, Texas a week before Christmas from their apartment parking lot in the Design District downtown. We are completely devastated and are trying to search everywhere for the missing Elf. The police were no help and said we wouldn't get the car back and that it was probably already on a ship headed overseas, but we are still keeping the faith our Riley will be recovered. They were featured on the news last night: www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Reward-Offered-To-Find-Stolen-Classic-Car-504297791.htmlDo you by chance, have any tips or advice that could possibly help us find our stolen Riley? We have filed a police report, reported it to the insurance company, and also call the Dallas pound/towing companies, and asked local cab drivers to look out for our car on the road, but nothing has turned up. Aside from google alerts, daily searching on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, eBay, and Classic car forums for any leads, nothing new has turned up. If you have any helpful information, I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thank you for your time and I appreciate any information you may have, have a great day. Sincerely, Suzette Tavera

Oh, sorry for your loss! I really hope that she will be found! I do not think that you can easily take away such a noticeable car. It will be the saddest of all if it is handed over for scrap, I heard about it!
