Looking to buy a RME, advice please

Hello everyone.
I'm looking to purchase an RMD or RME and wonder if there are things I should be looking out for, I don't want to buy a heap of trouble!
Where do they normally rust?
Any timber work that needs checking?
Any spares difficult to get?
That sort of thing. If anyone has the time to drop me a note, I'd much appreciate it.

What do you want, an RMD or an RME? They are quite different, as is the price range they're in.
