I recently bought the rather sad looking Pathfinder on eBay. Having entered the registration into the DVLA website, nothing was found. The owner told me it had been off the road since the early 1960s and he can't find the original log book. If this turns out to be the case how would one go about getting a log book and hopefully resting the original number? Thanks in advance. Phil,

Hi Phil, It is possible to apply to DVLA to re-register the original number, or to apply for an age-related number. The club can assist in verifying that the car is what it claims to be, in terms of originality and history, to some extent. Our spares secretary has experience of applying to register Pathfinders and could probably help when you get to the point of applying.
Regards, Rob
