Dear Enthusiasts Whilst out walking in the Yorkshire Dales recently I came across this forlorn Riley Elf desperately crying out to be restored. It's all there and complete, just as it has been left after its last journey, all it needs is lots of TLC. The last tax disc expired on 31 Dec 2011 and the last MOT expired 14 Dec 2009. This doesn't explain how it acquired a tax disc in Jan 2011, but that's what the DVLA website says. I do hope one of you can introduce it to a loving owner. I did not attempt to find who the current owner is, but the car is in a barn next to the Reading Room Cafe & Bar in the village of Clapham, North Yorkshire, LA2 5EQ. A telephone call to the cafe on 01524 251144 should identify the owner. Best regards Stuart Mumby Registrar, MGA Register MG Car Club mga@live.co.uk

Owner has been found but is unwilling to sell as it's a family car - hopefully they will get it back on the road one day soon...
