Saturday 26th of October we had a very wet and cold day at the Coventry Canal River Trust open day. The Coventry Canal Basin is the home of the Riley Archive Project and very soon the doors will be open for Riley enthusiasts to come and share their personal journeys and experiences of all things Riley (all stories, successes or perhaps less fortunate learning experiences welcome!) Unfortunately the day was cancelled by the River trust volunteers after a very wet hour when it became clear that attendance was going to be compromised by the weather and the small matter of a Rugby match happening to be televised! Still it was fantastic that two of our members braved the rain and showed their Rileys can still look stylish no matter what the weather. A huge huge thank you and here's hoping our next Riley Archive Project event can conjure up a little sunshine. For more info about the Riley Archive Project you can head over to www.rileyarchives.com where we'll be updating with any future events and upcoming plans. http://instagram.com/p/B4FMVeDlCEt
