Hello! In December 2020 I bought a 1952 RMA 1.5 saloon, dark British racing green with the registration ZO 3797, chassis no.: 42S20057; engine no. 10173. It's a lovely car in excellent condition but it came with no history file. I was, however, given some hearsay: that it was bought new in Dublin from Brittain Motors (a brass plate verifies this) in July 1952, and exported to the UK in the late 1950s. It was first registered with the DVLA in May 1959 but the DVLA will not now divulge the names of previous owners. (It just told me that the car wasn't stolen, and the dates of first, and first UK, registrations). There is no MOT history. Does anyone know anything about this car? Apparently it's never been registered with the Riley Club but someone, at some stage, must have restored it.

Hello zuleika89, or whatever your name really is. Welcome to the ranks of real car ownership.
You might get a better response from the Riley RM Club, they deal exclusively with the RM series and will respond quickly. The possible drawback, dependant upon viewpoint, is that you will probably have to join the Riley RM Club, as well as this one, I can recommend it. The registration number is fairly Irish, and Brittains cars have a certain cachet.
Best of Luck.
