I cannot get my wiper motor to work even though it looks good and the resistances seem correct so I wonder if anyone has a spare in their garage or knows somewhere to get this one repaired? Thanks in advance. Roy

Hey up Roy, Dont know where you are obviously, but there’s got to be a good old fashioned electrical shop near you, all you got to do is ask a lorry man or farmer where he gets electrical jobs done,, most lorries suffer electrical problems or driver wants fancy lights installing or cab heaters .We have two nearby an they both will look at a wiper motor as to an electrician they easy as they only, wire coil, armature an brushes. You might have to do a bit of grovelling like”if you could look at it , I could get whatever parts you want” Not home at moment but on my return will look as I’m sure I have a spare. Just so you know,I had a cooper s and when I came to sell, the first very nice man who looked at it declined the sale as the casing on the wiper motor said 1972! The car was a 1964 and he wanted it original.I used to sell Lucas wiper motors and they frequently went wrong and we had them on the shelf on part exchange. So if you want the car original and cannot get that one repaired you must get the casing swopped. regards The Garland
