Hi my names Juliet and I’m new here , this is my first post . I’m in need of your help please ! I’m searching for a Riley reg plate EX 8234 A very dear friend sold this car to someone in Yorkshire Brian Richard’s . My dear friend knew the original owner from new and after following it around the country to shows was given it done years later . Unfortunately it became garaged as it was too heavy to steer for her , and was sold . My friend has fond memories of the Riley and photograph albums full of the days it was shown and rosettes won . Any info / pics would be fantastic to show her and relive those days ! Many thanks in advance

Juliet. Hello.
A very quick check on the DVA website shows that EX8234, a Black Riley is still registered as being Taxed, and therefore one must assume that it is still 'with us'.
The car does not possess an MOT, but it does not require one.
The last V5C was issued on 30th September 2011.
From this pne can assume that the car has not been scrapped, and has not been declared SORN. If I can find out anything else I will let you know.

Hello Juliet, again.
I have been in touch with the Vehicle Registrar of the Riley RM Club, who has sent me a copy of the Vehicle Record for EX 8234.
The car is still up and running, the current owner is a member of the Riley RM Club, the car is currently painted Black and Cream, and it lives in Bedfordshire.
Privacy isssues prevent me from divulging the name of the current owner in this forum, but if you were to contact me, by telephone in the first instance, I might be able to help some more.
Take care.
Roger Holman.
