Riley Badge - What do I have here?

I’ve been handed down this aluminium script that I assumed was a radiator grill badge, but can’t find anything like it in photos and literature.
It’s 12” long and has very specific fixtures on the back.

Any ideas welcome

looks style of a aa/rac badge at the back, doesnt look massed produced to me, is it made for a special someone was building & wanted a bigger riley badge for the front / couldnt find one suitable
