Hi , My name is John , I have just joined this club as I have recently purchased my first Riley Rma , she’s a beauty, problem is the engine was pulled out and stripped down to be rebuilt , unfortunately the previous owner had died so provenance is vague , I’m near Maidstone in Kent , would anybody know of someone that may be able to help me out regarding rebuild or possibly another engine Much appreciated Regards John Arthur

Hello Jono.
Congratulations on having purchased a very nice motor car, at least, it will be when you get it up and running.
There are a number of suggestions I could make, one of which is to join the Riley RM Club, which club deals only in the RM series, and has probably the greatest available fund of knowledge.
The RM series engine is not particularly complex, and is probably within the competence range of most home mechanics, provided care and time are taken. There are specialist engine re-builders around, but they are , necessarily, a bit expensive. Quality comes at a price.
