Wow Loghausmotors,
From what I understand that’s about 3,000 miles. You must be really dedicated to getting it back on the road.
You have certainly come to the right place for help, Keep us informed of its progress.
Well done and good luck. Dave

I just towed this Riley from Alaska to Vermont in May 2016. My Brother found it in a old junkyard a few years ago. It has very little rust but is banged up a bit. The engine is going to need a lot of work and spares. It will be a fun project, I will probably asking you folks about where to get spares. I recall discussing this car with you in Stowe last fall. Nice to read you got the old girl home! The oily bits are mostly MGA, the suspension is mostly Morris manure. The shiny bits & interior is 'good luck'
Remind me where in Vermont you are again?

Has everyone posted pictures of their cars? Some of these will make it into the August magazine! Happy to help with posting pictures if you need it.

One-Point-Fives make very good everyday cars. Here is our family 2 adults + 2 children Riley car summer holiday in the 1990s. Cheers G

Hi Timchris Weren't your last photos taken at the national rally at Hoar Park (in 2009??). There was a really good turn out of 1.5s. Cheers, G

@ Timchris That under bonnet photo raises many questions.
the Derrington valve cover & distributor less ignition dictates not your average power plant? the gear shift lever says what? Nice!
@ Grommit you woke up the nostalgia in me, thanks. I recall many family camping trips, Mom, Dad, myself & big brother & sister. Roof rack and tents with gear for 2 weeks away all in a Vauxhall Cresta. Being the youngest of course I sat in the middle of the back seat.

Hi all, new member ianhr here, from Sechelt BC in Canada. Just acquired this '59 this summer and am enjoying being back to recognizing things under the hood (bonnet) and getting dirty again!
