www.carandclassic.co.uk/classic_cars.php?category=3&make=495®ion=&country=&era=&advert_type=&price=&keyword=&S.x=64&S.y=17&S=Search"1964 Riley 1.5 project .Transferable number '426 KUE' This car has some redeeming features and some not so good bits. The body is straight, it has decent chrome, very good leather interior, new carpets, very good head lining, reasonable wood, good engine with good oil pressure, good gearbox, inside the bonnet and bulkhead are in good condition, inside the boot and spare wheel well are rot free, the top half of the car the paintwork is not bad and does clean up , the lower half has been hand painted and will want re doing, the above are the good bits, now for the not so good. Both outer sills need replacing, the drivers side is worse than the passenger side, the sill where it meets the inner rear wheel arch on the O/S is a bit ugly, the bottom of the drivers door needs repairing, the o/s front wing where it meets the front door need a repair. A worthwhile project that will turn back into a nice car. I have owned it for 18 months V5C in my name, not enough time to deal with it.... please phone for further details" 07043 227090

Well spotted Rob, However - it appears to have gone downhill a little over the last few years - it came up for sale in 2009 and looked like this .... It sold in 2009 - for only £1410 - so now you appear to be paying more for something worse! What a shame though if its not saved. Roger
