I am sorry to announce the death of Norman on Tuesday evening, January 2. He had been seriously ill for the last few years. He was a keen and active Riley enthusiast, his beautiful matching white RMD Dropheads very much part of the local Club scene. He served the Club as Southern Centre Chairman for many years. The funeral will be held at The Oaks Havant Crematorium, Bartons Road, Havant PO9 5NA on Friday 16 February at 1pm. You will be welcome, please bring your Riley if you can. Norman & Ann attended many of the Southern Centre events, grand picnics were often part of the fun. He was very proud of his Rileys and, although he kept them in immaculate condition, he never competed in specific concours events. He did, though, win awards for his Rileys at Centre meetings, included the Pike Challenge Cup presented to him by Victor Riley at Hollycombe Museum. If you wish to share memories of Norman or post a tribute on the website please e-mail these to editor@rileymotorclub.org
