While the 1.5L RM is not known as a tyre burner, we'd like to improve the power a little, to make life easier on hills, etc.
How responsive is the 1.5L RMA engine to tuning? Given the RMA engine is essentially v. similar to the pre-war 12/4, which produced good power in Sprite form, what options are availabvle for the post-war engine? Increase comp. ratio? twin carbs? sprite cams? other? some combination of things?
Thanks in advance!

You'll be better off asking on the RM club forum. They're very helpful over there even though you have to be a club member to access it. Loads of useful information too. This place is probably one of the slowest and least useful forums I've ever seen. Helpful answers to questions are in fairly short supply round here.

Peter, I obviously have no idea whether you have followed up on the above suggestion re. Riley RM Club, but, being a member of both, I can confirm that the RM Club is a veritable mine of information. If you want to know just about anything to do with RMs, you will find an answer there.
I apologise for the very slow reponse time, I spend lots of time looking at RRMC Forum, not too much here.
