The car you mention is finished in non standard colours unfortunately so I can't help, it was originally Island Green with an Old English White roof but was resprayed in a bright blue and bright white as part of its restoration to a non standard colour scheme with a non standard interior too. I do know that a lot of money (and I do mean a lot) was spent on this car but the execution of the paint scheme leaves much to be desired in my opinion as the standard boundary lines to split the two colours have not been observed. Obviously the owner had the car restored to his own wishes and don't want to knock that but it does limit its appeal to any buyers wanting to spend that sort of money and looking for originality.
There were three different blues offered on the car originally, these were Florentine Blue, Bermuda Blue and Aquamarine (perhaps bordering on green that one) and only Florentine and Aquamarine cars had the option of a two tone with Old English White roofs to the best of my knowledge. I own a Bermuda Blue car (see my profile thumbnail image) and have never seen one with white roof although they did offer a Florentine Blue car with a Bermuda Blue roof in a two tone. I would attach photos of cars in these colours but the size restrictions of this site mean all my photos would be too large. Bet you wish you hadn't asked now, ha ha, but if you Google Riley in those colours you can see images of each.

Many thanks for the prompt reply & all the info provided. The project in question appears to be darker in shade (despite being very faded) than the photo of your car. I guess it's Florentine blue. Interesting to note the white is "Old English" - I was expecting it to be "Snowberry" I did try to google the colours at one time, but the only charts that appeared were post '64. I'll try again. Thanks again.

Thanks again. Mr. J40, Here is a snap from the factory issued sales brochure. (click to enlarge) This details the factory colour combinations. Great period colour combos for sure ... Keep well, salut Bruce

Great stuff, thanks. As you say, inspirational colour (combinations) that may possibly pre-date the A40 Farina ones. I'd been of the opinion that the (futuristic) A40 colours contributed to it's popularity, when most cars were either black or........ black!

Fair enough. Everyone is entitled to their own taste. My wife has a certain penchant for black, only in cellulose of course, I hasten to add. Maybe we should now draw a line under colours!

Maybe we should now draw a line under colours! no worries and FWIW I think your wife has impeccable taste in colours . I would have liked to have a choice of colours when buying a Riley one-point-five . Unfortunately on this side of the pond, these cars are mega rare and when available I guess what is for sale is what is bought. I chose to have a Red pinstripe, (to match interior colour combination) put just above the side stainless strip and below the windows from 'A' post to rear of car. Breaks up the all Black quite nicely. All the best in your search salut Bruce
