Hi All, Because very little has happened since the start of the lockdown as far as Club events are concerned, our Editor could do with some news about us all and what we have been doing. During this pandemic time, if you have been devoting some time making improvements to your Rileys either mechanically or bodily, Record readers I'm sure will be very interested to hear about them, particularly if you can take photos of your successes, or otherwise!
I know I have spent quite a few hours trying to stem a persistent oil leak from where the rev counter drive fits into the rear of the inlet camshaft bearing, hopefully with a good result the next time we go out for a run.

I have several articles that I am currently working on showing outcomes at both ends of the spectrum so they will be submitted at some point. I understand recording one's thoughts when struggling with a particular problem is not automatic and taking pictures less so, what I have found is the best for me is to have my phone to hand to record my thoughts and use the camera to record any salient photos. This is a pain when trying to solve a problem but can make life easier when you do try to put down your thoughts and illustrate outcomes. Many fixes are a subject of several tries and persistence is everything but family plus work can get in the way and most people are not retired either so even the simplest task can be time consuming, having said all that the fact that people still get things in to the Magazine is an achievement in itself, so keep trying everyone!
