Hi Bruce, If that's the Riley one I have just checked mine at 655ohm with lead disconnected. Looking the other way at the gauge it was 83ohm

Hi Bruce, I can't help with the values, but just wish to remind you that, beside the resistance value, you need to measure the temperature, as well, since the thermistor is temperature sensitive. I haven't done any work with thermistors, but believe they are specified at two temperatures, which defines the curve.

Hello Herb I am not quite sure what you mean?
I am trying to determine if this sender matches the gauge in the car. I am told it is a Riley sender so I was curious what I should find before I swap it out for my current one that is questionable.
