OK guys - The ProBoards Forum is free and storage is limited. I know this is a workaround but will work for any forum or any other place you want to post images :-) 1. Go to imgbb.com/2. Upload your image 3. Click on the photo preview they show (don't copy the viewer link code) and right click and 'Copy Image Address' 4. In your post click on the Photo icon and paste in the link from the imgbb site The image will then appear in your post! :-) Similarly if you post the image to Facebook or any other social right click on it and copy the image address. Paste the image address into the photo button details. Let me know if anyone has any issues. Thanks for your support of this forum! If you have an RM do check out 'The Riley RM series 1945-57' Facebook group.

Harris, Is there no way the Riley Motor Club can sort this out? Registering for another storage place for photos with terms & conditions pages long? doesn't sound much like member privilege?
We lost a ton of information and exchanges when the original/previous forum was closed down, I hope this isn't the case for this one?
Thanks Bruce H

Hear hear! The 'work-around' is just too clunky and image size also a problem. Let's have our old system back and running please.

I have to agree with Tony and Bruce. The system worked OK until recently and the 1MB limit was ok. This is a major issue as far as I am concerned. Why has our service from Proboards deteriorated so much?

OK everybody! The committee had a meeting and the issue of being able to attach photos was brought up. We all think that the forum is important and want to encourage its use so we have upgraded the storage (paid to have the feature).
If you want to add in a picture simply select the 'Add attachment' option and you can attach your photo from your computer.
Let me know if you need any individual help with it.
Thanks Enjoy!

Thank you Harris and the committee your decision is greatly appreciated. If the extra storage has to be paid for would it be helpful if we all reduced the size of our images. The present limit is 1 or 2MB ?? but surely 200 or 300 kB is plenty in practice. If we requested members to work with a lower voluntary limit would we get more pics for our buck? Cheers, Jonathan
