Hello everybody: I've recently found on a 1948 RMC convertible (hydro/mech) that the wheel brake cylinders on the left side were 1-1/8"dia. and the ones on the right were 1-1/4"dia. wich I find it strange. The brakes were seized for years so I haven't got a clue if this is correct. I was considering to switch one to each side to even things up but they aren't interchangeable. Can anyone help me?

I would imagine that with this set up the brakes would pull to the right, I have no knowledge of the set up but it should have the same diameter wheel cylinders on both sides otherwise the system will be out of balance. Hope this is of some help to you? NP
