Hi Everybody. Im back after the forum disappearance. sorry in advance if this was done under the previous forum. My question is. Has anybody removed and replaced the wiring loom? Does the wiring from the dashboard run up the A pillar and above the doors before re entering at the boot? Has anybody replaced theirs? can the boot wiring be pulled through with a line? im thinking i will just run it accross the floor to the boot. I have a modern replacement loom in a wreck, which i plan to swap out. Cheers

Hi Rileynz, Good to have you back - glad you found us!
Last year I removed the wiring loom as part of my restoration - but did not replace it - just put new ends on and cleaned up. However I can confirm that the loom does run up the A-post and above the rear doors, re-appearing in the boot above the rear wheel arch. I guess it would be possible to pull it through and replace - however you can detach the rear part of the loom under the dash and leave that bit still in the car whilst replacing the rest.
Good luck and let us know how you get on! (remember to label all the ends when dismantling - saves a lot of time!)
Roger
