Hello All. We have a 1936 Riley 12/4 Lynx, registration CLA 528, chassis number 26L 3358. All I know is that the car was first registered in London in early 1936, and was originally black with red interior and wheels. She was purchased by a Robin Dodd in 1962. He ran the car for about 10-15 years until she was taken off the road. Restoration commenced by Robin (an aeronautical engineer) in the late eighties, and she was back on the road by 2004. He kept the car until 2015, when we bought the car (July). Unfortunately, Robin passed away last September, and I thus haven't had the chance to ask many questions. However, what I do know is that the car pulled a large caravan before Robin bought it, and as a result ran a very low back axle (however, it now runs a 4.65:1 which is good for a 70mph cruising speed). If anyone has any information, pictures, documents regarding CLA 528, I would love to see. Regards, Alexandra
