Hi all, After 40 plus years of car restoration I started one last project and spent 4 years restoring "James" the Land Rover when finished he was beautiful but as the wife said he drove like a Camel lol, like a Land Rover actually and we averaged only about a 1000 miles a year in him over 3 years, he had to go :-( The boss and I have agreed :-) that we could share our lives with a Riley 1.5 as very attractive, practical cars and also the right size for our rather small garage. I don't want another project, I begin to sound like my late father "one to last me out" There is a very pretty one for sale at over 10k that is rather too hot but I expect to pay good money for an excellent vehicle. Hoping soon to be joining the owners club with a nice Riley companion. Thanks for your time Richard and Li

Well after a long fruitless Riley search I have purchased a rather nice Singer Gazelle. Not quite what I had in mind but SWMBO likes it so must be a winner
