Where do I fill it up from ?
Have a small leak around the drain plug but before I remove it and fit new bolt and washer I need to know where to fill it up from please.

Crawl around under the car and take a look on the left hand side of the transmission casing. You will find a side cover, as below, with the filler plug #19;
To gain access to the filler plug; at left hand side of the transmission tunnel, inside the cabin, you will find a rubber grommet, probably under your carpet/floor covering, as shown below; pop out the grommet, clean & remove the plug, use a siphon pump or a funnel and fill with 30 weight non detergent oil. Fill until the plug level. You will be good to go. Put some PTFE tape on the drain plug to help resist leaks. Note: the above picture is my LHD Riley hence the pedals
You do not mention the MK of your car, I show a MK 1 model and the below may be of interest to you;
Be careful under there.
