Recently received the following mail from a contact made at the Moffat Show in Scotland earlier in the year, and thought I would give members a head up, before advertising it elsewhere. I understand that while the car is partially stripped, with the engine/gearbox out, all parts are there to complete the restoration. I do not know what the quality of work done so far is, but do have one or two shots of the car if anyone is interested.
Hello Mr Hamer. I am sending you some pictures of our 1952 Riley that i believe Billy Davidson has already made you aware of. The previous owner died passing the car over to his daughter in 1991 who arranged for it to stripped and repaired ,however realising the amount of work required contacted me in view to a sale in 2006 . Due to retirement and a lack of space i stopped work on it and am now looking to sell the Riley as an unfinished restoration project and i am open to reasonable offers . Riley saloon 1952 2443cc 2 previous owners Thank you . Ken Niven

Hi Ken,
Not sure of the present status of the car, but the December issue of the Riley Record should contain an advert for the car, for those who do not look on the forum. If there are any movements with the car, please let me know, so I can sleep soundly! See you at Moffat 2018.
Norman Hamer.
