I am looking for someone that had a Red interior or replaced/renewed theirs and has some Red vinyl kicking about the shop. The piece that covers the rear shelf would be a good quantity/size of material. Because these armrest are mounted against an original Red door card a colour match is desirable. I have perused web sites like Woolies with no success. Any one know of another source? I have some spare arm rests, that I want to fix to the front doors. The current colour Maroon does not fit well. Thanks in advance Bruce

Getting an exact match as you are aware is very tricky due to the effects of UV light I think that I might have some left after re trimming the rear parcel shelf some years ago if I can it find the chances of being a very close match will be remote but you can have some with pleasure once it has been found. Nigel, I will appreciate you having a rummage. This will be brilliant, and you will make me a happy chap! . Any OE Red colour will improve on what I have or have been able to locate this side of the pond. I think the bit to be least affected by UV will be the 'knee' rail bit, no? 'George' is a bit tired in the 'aesthetics' department but glows with patina. and runs like Roger Bannister. Please let me know what you find and we can/will exchange coordinates etc. B

I have found some fabric from a 1959 Mk1 and have sent a personal email but it is not showing on my sent list so I do not know if you have it. Please send your details so I can post it. NP
