Numpty question of the week ( new trend !!)

Just doing the finishing on my 1500 restoration.

I have FOUR Riley one point five scripts. Three of these are larger and the fourth smaller. I recognise that the three larger scripts go on the two front wings and boot, but for the life of me, I can't work out where the smaller script goes.

Can anyone give me a clue ??

Thew scripts were smaller and finer on the earlier cars. Could you just have an extra one of these?

Hi Tom

This might help you  - it shows the two different styles of badges used - the 'smaller' scripts were only used on the very early cars, up until around 1958 I believe.

The 1st photo Rob posted is from Wikipedia. This shows scripts from my car and a friends car that shows the difference.  

Tony is spot on, the finer script (earlier MK1 cars)  seems an extra you have. 

If you do not need the finer script Riley one-point-five would you be open to letting it go?

If you look at your task bar which is directly under the Riley Motor Club Banner and find the Messages Icon click on that and you will find your personal messages there. Hope that helps?
