Good day to all, I am an owner of a 1953 MG TD. I am trying to get current paint codes for Silver Streak Gray produced in 1952 and 1953. I have recently been told that this same color was used on the Riley RM. can anyone verify this? If so, does anyone have correct codes for this color? It is distinctive in that it has slight green tint to it.
Thanks for any help you can give,
Jim Smith

Well, I am revisiting the Silver Streak Gray issue. It has become a real challenge. The key to this color is the slight green tint that shows up in shade, but not as much in sun. I have a sprayout card that was created using an original car but it is waterborne paint and I need to convert to solvent-based paint. The conversion is proving to be a real challenge. Does anyone have a current, solvent-based color code for Silver streak Gray. Even the mg-cars.org codes are obsolete and do not convert to modern paints.
Thanks for any help you can give, Jim Smith
