I picked up a pair of original photographs of One Point Fives competing in the 1959 Monte Carlo Rally.
One image is of Car 116 driven by Les Leston and Paddy Hopkirk (UXD 266) which finished 82nd.
The second image is of Car 113 driven by Ian and William Sutherland (NS 3535) which finished 61st.
I intend to write a short story for our club magazine about the two cars. I have found a few magazine reports which mention the Leston/Hopkirk car but cannot find anything about the Sutherland car, apart from a brief mention that they were Riley dealers from Glasgow and had competed in the rally before, I believe in a Riley.
Does anyone know anything about the Sutherlands and their One Point Five?
