Need to move on my dad's unfinished Riley 2.5 RMF. Dad passed away this year, it's sat at the bottom of mums drive and needs to go. It's obviously a restoration project for somebody or maybe for use as a donor car. I think it's too good to go to the scrap man so I figured I'd see if anybody on here is interested. I think it's being advertised in the club magazine as well (but we don't get the magazine anymore). The chassis, engine, axels and differentials were all restored (they look a bit mucky in the pictures because it's just been stood for the last couple of years). I saw the engine running probably 5 years ago - it's been covered up since then. There are many boxes/ice cream tubs full of parts stripped from it and restored. I think many of the body panels are OK (in need of restoration). The shell is what's a mystery to me....it looks knackered....I don't know if you restorer guys see it as a challenge or rubbish (think it's the wood frame that's bad). So he did all the chassis etc but didn't get to any interior/bodywork. I can't say that it's complete I remember picking it up from John Kirby's farm (Riley Club member) when I was a small boy in the 1980's when it was housing some chickens! It's located in Barnsley (UK) and you're welcome to come look at it. I've plenty of photo's that I can email if anybody wants them (I can only attach 3 to this post).
