I think this one has been on sale privately for a while - being LHD probably isn't helping.
It will be interesting to see what it goes for.

Theres this lefty in netherlands for 14000 euro sale price, maybe the white one has been restored that way to appeal to euroland /usa sales. I do know that for some reason prewar rileys have a decent following across germany belgium & that area, perhaps folk are cottoning on, that the good old 1.5 with its bomb proof b series engine is a bargin compared against other similar era cars, they offer maximun VFM (value for money) & anyone with a basic tool kit can keep them maintained

I went to view this earlier today at the viewing day as it is just two miles from where I live. I'd say it is a 7 or 8 out of 10, by no means perfect, the door shuts are pretty poor all round, some rear door seals missing and something strange going on with the bonnet and I think a fair bit of filler in places but she looks smart enough. Certainly a pretty decent spray job and the work to transform to LHD has been carried out very well. Couldn't see much underneath to worry about although there are clearly one or two patches evident. Guy at the auction house said they'd had a fair amount of interest in it with some overseas potential buyers making contact so it will be interesting to watch the auction and see what she reaches. He said the £10k to £12k estimate was just that, an estimate and the realistic price may well be lower unless there is a bidding war between one or two foreign buyers.

it did not sell £8650 buy it now, its still at the auction site, whether that buy it now is subject to +12.5% + vat im not sure as it didnt make its lower estimate, to schedule 2 big auctions on the same day is asking for trouble imo
