I wonder if you can help me. Around ten years ago, I sold my Riley 1.5 hill climb car. EMU10B is a white (was white?) MGB engined, lowered and extensively modified car, when I was a club member is was featured in the club's gallery. Now, long into my retirement, I would like to try and retrieve it (in truth I should never have sold it!) I have established that it was last tested around 2006 and is currently SORN. The DVLA will not give me the details of ownership and refuse to pass on my letter in case the new owner has died and wish to avoid distress!! So, is it possible for the Riley owners club to find this vehicle and perhaps put the current owner in touch with me. I hope you can help Kind regards Ron Migliorini West Sussex 01243789273 ronmig@btconnect.com

Ron, I encourage you to contact the Riley one-point-five registrar. He posts here often goes by the handle noddy. He keeps a register of all known one-point-five cars with information. FWIW EMU 10B is in the register and is listed as "heavily modified, white with red interior" .
The contact above I am sure can assist much more than me.
Cheers Bruce
