It's a long time since I visited this website and a lot of old threads seem to have disappeared.
Anyway, the last time I was on here, I was trying to find info about the attached photo. People seemed interested but nobody knew the answers to my questions. I shall try again...
This photo (which I have since used in my book about the Morgan 3 Wheeler) must have been taken in the early 1930s, so the Olympia was already an antique. In the driver's seat is my father (born 1910) and I have no idea why he was sitting in the Olympia or of the identity of the man in the suicide seat. Here are my questions:
Was this photo taken in a museum or at the Riley factory? Does this Riley Olympia still exist? Why is there a full rubbish bin in the background?

This Olympia is in the British Motor Museum in Coventry. I believe it is the same one that my father sat in. Attachments:
