Pleased to say that Christine and myself are back again, and still have the 1.5 lurking awaiting finishing.

Thanks Mike, It's a bit tatty, but we're not interested in concours, just practicallity. It was our daily driver for 6 years so underwent some serious upgrades, 1950cc, 5 speed, alternator, electric fan and water pump, crank triggered ignition etc. I started doing some small weld repairs which turned into major ones, which i just need to finish. A few more upgrades are in the pipeline including alloy head, disc brakes and Atlas LSD axle.

Sounds good. Would love to see more pictures and details of completed and planned changes! We are preserving one too and fall into the "properly tatty" category .

This is my home made ignition set up, 2 seperate systems, one does the outer cylinders and the other the inner 2, allows for a slight split in timing. The new alloy head. Some of the 'minor' weld repairs, did it all in stainless steel, both sides. Discs and calipers awaiting mods and fitment. More weld repairs, all stainless. Made stainless middle and outer sill.

Hi Tim, Welcome back - good to hear from you again. When is your car going to be ready again?
We are hoping to be out in the racer next year - will obviously keep posting on the forum with any news.
All the best,
Roger

Hi Roger, Unfortunately work gets in the way of me getting on with the car, but i am planning a big splurge on it next year, so fingers crossed. Glad to hear the racer is still going strong.

Hello Tim, Welcome back for sure!!
I had sort of forgotten about you, (nothing personal) just with other forum disappearing and new /old players coming & going. Yes I recall your ignition trigger installation, I love it!
FWIW I thought all one-point-five were meant to be 'tatty'.
