Hi, Just a big thank you to all the members who have given up their free time to organize the National this weekend gone. Unfortunately my 2.6 let me down Saturday night with a brake problem so I ended up attending in something totally disinteresting! I had a really lovely day and saw a lot of interesting cars and 2 pathfinders and Bernie P's beautiful 2.6 to boot! Well done! Bob.

I second that Bob, Thanks to the team for putting on a well organised show at a super venue. It was great to catch up with some old friends and meet members who were always happy to talk 'Riley'! Sadly we had to 'retire hurt' after an enjoyable Saturday run to the Gaydon museum, so missed out on Sundays fun. For us Sunday was spent on National Express busses and a useless railway system getting us home.
The car is ok (now tucked safely in my fathers garage!) - but developed some serious engine noises on Sat afternoon. Thanks to those who tried to help diagnose the issues - it was generally felt it was a top-end problem, something to do with tappets/followers/cam - with the latest thought being that the camshaft bearings have disintegrated! It will be ready for next year!
