Hi, I'm trying to identify a Riley model. It was my Grandfather's car, and these photos were taken circa 1955. I'm certainly no expert, but what I do see from the photos is the single-pane windscreen. I cannot, however, tell if there are any running boards. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Matt.

Thank you falcon for your reply. Here's another photo I came across. I see running boards, and remember the almost "Dickie" seat. Cheers, Matthew.

Hi,
Great to see all the views, and falcons's reply.
Do any other members of the Club have any input?
Kind Regards,
Matthew.

That it is a 1937 Riley Continental Touring Saloon, quite a rare model even in 1955! The 'FV' registration tells me that it would have been first registered in Blackpool. I cannot find any record of it in the list of prewar Rileys compiled by David Styles in 1982 or on the current DVLA database
