When Riley has been revived my wife would like to be able to drive it occasionally - But. I am 6ft tall and she is 4ft 11ins. Has anyone ever fitted pedal extensions to solve such a problem or have any suggestions ? Do you think that the Insurance company would look kindly at such a removable modification ?

Ummm, good question. How would you suggest doing this? blocks of timber & jubilee clips? Do you have a MK 2 or 3 Riley? I believe these later MK seat tracks are more easily adjustable than the archaic lever/steel roller affair of the MK 1. I have mounted my seat frames,, (MK 1) to the floor at the rearmost fastening holes. FWIW I am +6 feet tall with a +34" inseam and find the pedals, (steering wheel too) so close that I end up I sitting bandy legged. Very uncomfortable for long drives.
Let us know your solution, you cannot be alone.

I have Mk 3. I am thinking of a solution that is an assembly that covers all three pedals. If the seat is fully forward she might find that steering wheel is too close. Something to think about over the winter.
