I need a target for Drive it day - I thought I saw an East Anglia event but can't find it now. Any 1.5's heading anywhere that I could use as a 'drive-to' point? I'm on the Oxon/Bucks borders.

We're out in our 1960 Riley 1.5 with a local car group that I've joined on a Car Treasure Hunt so there'll be quite a few of us hurtling around the North Somerset countryside finding out the answers to the questions posed. Ends in a lunch that unfortunately we'll not be able to go to as my wife is a voluntary local coordinator for the charity Contact the Elderly and will be going to one of the tea-parties that are organised. Still, we and others will be flying the flag for the Riley and other classics in general. The members of the charity who are 75 plus and some in their 90s do like to see the classics on show and you end up hearing the inevitable "we had one of those!" So, not only will we be celebrating Drive-It Day, we'll also be helping people in the latter stages of life who without the monthly tea-parties would be lonely at the weekend. I think that's called a win-win situation in modern parlance. If anyone wants details of the Contact the Elderly charity and how they could help out, please get in touch and I or my wife will get back to you. Contact the Elderly

I've seen that there's a midlands meeting up near Market Harborough so I'm going to head for that
