HI I am having problems with repairing rear wings and rear valence I do not seem to be able to get the rear wing repair panels to line up with the rear valence (all purchased from riley club spares) the radius does not appear to match .Is this normal I expected a bit of fettling but I do not want to go mad if there is another solution. The bottom 9" of my car has dissolved so I do not have one good side to compare any help please.
Also I have had to make from scratch a spare wheel well for which I have made a hardwood buck to form the metal round if this buck is anyuse to anyone they are welcome to it as I am not going to make another (it will only go on the fire at christmas)
I do not know how to upload photos to this forum but I have got photos of buck if required

I bought some external body panels from the club, mainly at the rear. These required minor adjustment by the man who was fitting them but nothing, in general, that he was particularly bothered about. A little work was required align a panel with the end of the sill. Mind you he is an artist with sheet metal. He did make all the other panels at the rear to an extremely high standard. harry

My car was almost, but fortunately not quite, like that shown in that restoration. It will be back with me in two weeks for an MOT and re-commissioning ready for the trip to France in September. Harry
