I need to buy an outdoor waterproof car cover to fit the Riley 1.5 through the winter but there are so many to choose from, with some claiming to be 'tailored' to fit this model but looking at comments on various forums it seems as though often these covers are not 'tailored' in the sense of them being designed specifically to the car.
Has anyone used a car cover they can recommend or suggest ones to avoid - they are not exactly cheap to buy and I'd rather know that the money will be well spent and the car well protected?
Cheers
Rob

I use the Halfords Medium for the 1.5 and the Minx and a Small for the A40. I am happy with them, they are not too expensive and they fit quite well. I leave the front of the three under-car fasteners unclipped so I can easily peel it back occasionally and start the cars to warm them up.

I use the Halfords medium as well.
The softer grey coloured one.
It works ok, I think id have some concerns where we live if the paintwork was perfect though as the covers do flap a little when we get a lot of wind. We are in a fairly exposed area though and if you are not then should be fine.

Another thought. Surely the Riley should be in the garage and the modern outside.

Ah well, the problem is I have two Rileys in the garage and three have to stay outside while they await their turn for restoration. A nice problem to have though.
