I am trying to buy something from Earlpart for my 1.5 but their phone is unanswered and there is no answerphone message. No reply to emails either. The link to their website shows ' currently closed ' and their opening hours are shown as Monday - Sunday 6 - 6 :01 a.m. Does anyone know what has happened, please. Dave Dale.

Same experience. Sent him emails on business as well as private address. No reply. Hope he is not out of business.

Chaps, FWIW from my side of the Atlantic I can Google, (either IE or Chrome) Earlpart, and access their website, peruse the catalogues etc. as per norm.
Can club spares not help you out?

Unfortunately it would appear Earlparts have gone into liquidation, that's bad news for classic car owners

Whilst I am sad to hear about Earlpart and indeed any company that supports the classic car industry there may still be some mileage in this firm for the Riley Club Parts Stocks if the contents are to be auctioned off if I am not mistaken they used to make exhaust systems amongst other things they may have just what the Riley Club spares dept require? Earlpart is now gone. However, the entire 1.5 (and I guess the Wolseley 1500 stock as well) has apparently been bought up by a chap called David Kingerley. He's setting up or has set up a company called Longbridge Motor Spares Limited. His phone number is 07495 443549 and email address is longbridgeltd@btinternet.com
For the foreseeable future he'll be working from the Earlpart catalogue which is still online. I believe he's looking to reduce the prices quoted at some point.
My first port of call will still be Riley Motor Club spares however if they haven't got what is needed than I'll be looking to this outlet as well.
I've no other information other than what I've picked up from Facebook.

I know David personally he has helped me out with hard to get items in the past as he has his own classic car parts business and classic cars as well. I can highly recommend him and am pleased to hear that he has purchased the Earlpart stock I will contact him in due course and get back to the forum when I can. NP

So it would read like the parts found a good home. Does this new chap have a website?
I agree that club spares is the first stop but ..................
I appreciate this information as very difficult to follow from this side of the pond.
Salut Bruce

Hi Tim, Try the club spares - they have a rear valance listed.
There are a few companies who do fibreglass ones - depends how original you want to keep it. There is also a company called Radford Panels who do steel ones (they may have been Earlparts suppliers!). But the best bet is the club.
Regards, Roger

Hello Tim, There is a chap on the west coast Canada that has just found a 'wreck' that he will be parting out.
I will contact him to see if this valance is available, not rotted to death and let you know, with coordinates.

thank you Roger and Bruce.. many thanks for the suggestions... no fibreglass panels thanks.. the car is at present highly original.. it suffered a 'compression' hit when young and was never property repaired, nor did it ever go back on the road.. it took a hit on front panel and in rear..the rear damage was mainly to valance .. I do have the original , but the metal is stretched.. the front panel and the boot lid had been replaced when i got the car ..still in primer.. rest of car has its original florentine blue paint....odometer reads +/- 27k miles..
