Sorry if this is an easy one . Is there a colour code or name for the blue of the 1965 1.5? I want to do some interior panels but no idea where to get the paint or it's code/name.

I have no idea what colour is the car you show.
Florentine Blue was an offering from BMC for the Riley one-point-five. Unfortunately our old forum had a complete colour chart per year and even the two tone colour combinations. Perhaps some one else will be along to help out. Salut B

Hi DLM,
For you information the BMC paint code for Florentine Blue is BU7 - and was used for the whole of the production run.
The following company were able to provide the correct paint - just using the paint code - and gave a very good service .... Colourweld UK on 01582 848602
Hope this helps,
Roger

Thank you Roger, I've received several cans now but handy to have the code and supply details just in case.

I managed to find this BMC colour chart from somewhere. Interestingly, my 1.5 is a shade of grey (only one not fifty) called Yukon Grey but doesn't appear here. Mine's a 1960 version so perhaps they dropped that exciting colour from the list for later models. Roger (aka Noddy).......any views on that?

Graham, According to the colour records I have, Yukon Grey was dropped in 1962. The chart you have is a later one - I also noticed that Leaf Green is not on there! Rog

Reference the comment from Noddy. I have just used Colourweld to get Aquamarine paint for my reviving Riley. They mixed from the colour code, BU43, and despatched immediately. Ordered a Thursday morning received Friday lunch time.
